Game Summary:

Between the Worlds is a unique blend of fantasy and crime fiction. You play as one of two detectives as you investigate eighteen locations in Los Angeles County, California, where complete chaos has broken out. It quickly becomes apparent that there is something sinister at work here; something beyond this world.

How to Play:

Each crime scene that you investigate will have several clues for you to find, which will be listed on the side of the screen. If you get stuck looking for something, you can always use a hint. And your assistant will pop up from time to time to give you general tips and advice about the game.

Tips & Hints:

Be patient and precise with your clicks, as clicking too many times on something that is not a clue will dock one minute from your timer. One minute by itself is not a lot, but it can add up quickly if you keep making errors. If you get so stuck that you're clicking all over the place, use a hint.

And that brings us to our second tip. Hints are very useful, but also very scarce, so use them sparingly. Once used, they will pinpoint a random object on your list, so don't think you can use them to find the specific item that you're looking for. You don't get to decide what object it will show you.
