Cate West: The Vanishing Files offers everything that's good about puzzle games. You'll search for hidden objects, spot differences in identical photos, even catch criminals by analyzing clues! And everything is wrapped up in an intriguing story with great writing and beautiful illustrations.

How to Play:

There are various types of stages. On hidden object stages, simply look for all of the items on your list. When playing a spot the difference puzzle, simply click all of the differences between the two pictures. When it's time to arrest a suspect, use all of the clues and the process of elimination to weed out the true criminal!

Tips & Hints:

Every good detective needs a helping hand once in a while, so you've got hints to help you find things that have got you stumped. They're unlimited, but you have to wait a while in between uses. Also, for every hint you use, you lose points at the end of the round.

While it's more common sense than a hint, remember to use your head when examining suspects. The game will try to throw you off by having certain clues pertain to more than one, so you'll have to do some serious mental stretching if you're going to find the one who's actually guilty.
