Game Summary:

"Come, Watson, come! The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come!" Sherlock Holmes is easily the best known investigator this planet has ever known and as a result, there are many stories that have been left untold. In this terrific title, you will look into several lost cases, going through to collect clues and to solve the mysteries that no one else can. Can you solve the case of the The Maestro's Violin? How about The Assassinated Aerialist? You'll need to brush up on your gumshoe skills for this one!

How to Play:

The majority of the stages will take one of two forms. First, you may encounter a highly detailed scene and then you must seek out a list of clues that are shown on the left side of the screen. The other kind of stage leaves you with the task of comparing two seemingly identical scenes. Seek out the differences in much the same fashion. Aside from these two main types of missions, you will also encounter a wide variety of mini-games. These each come with their own individualized set of instructions. Don't worry. Watson and Holmes are there to help you.

Tips & Hints:

Sometimes, it can be difficult to discern one item from another. It can also be hard to see into the tiny cracks behind the door or some other finer detail. To make use of your magnifying glass, you will want to hit the right mouse button. Activating this feature, you can view the scene in much greater detail. If you find yourself in a slump, you can also click on the pipe icon on the bottom-left corner to request a hint. Even the best of gumshoes need some help sometimes.
