Game Summary:

"You are in mortal danger." And so reads a mysterious letter that suddenly appears on your doorstep. To make matters even more mysterious, the letter is dated way back in 1963. Guided by a strange amulet, you make your way to Mortlake Mansion, only to find the door slam behind you, ghastly figures abound, and a remarkably overrun old building filled with things that go bump in the night. What does it all mean?

How to Play:

Navigating your way around the mansion is further complicated by the fact that the provided "map" is mostly empty. And so, it's up to you to find your way around, seeking out the list of hidden objects shown at the bottom of your screen. Click carefully, find the target items, and learn more of the tale of Mortlake Mansion. The amulet will guide the way.

Tips & Hints:

Although there is no timer to speak of in this game, you shouldn't go about haphazardly clicking on everything randomly in hopes of finding the target objects. Too many incorrect clicks in too short a time period will cause your pointer to become possessed, it seems, swirling around for several moments before you are able to control it once more. When in doubt, try clicking on the amulet in the bottom-right corner for assistance. This is useful not only for finding objects, but also for figuring out what to do next.
