Game Summary:
Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper, while primarily a hidden objects game, isn't afraid to deviate from that formula and change up the action every now and then. The levels seem to alternate between standard hidden objects and various bonus levels, which keeps you from getting bored. Add in the progression of fixing up the house and you have a very satisfying experience.
How to Play:
The hidden objects levels are as straightforward as they come. You're given a list of objects that you need to find in the current scene. Click on an object to collect it. For the other levels, the objectives vary wildly, but the game always does a fine job of explaining what to do. You shouldn't have any trouble figuring anything out.
Tips & Hints:
The Fixer Upper features a hint system, like all other games of this kind, but if you're smart, you don't need to rely on it. You have five hints to start off with and you can earn a new one in each level by finding the house icon. However, before you use a hint, mouseover the object you're looking for in the list and you'll be shown its silhouette. This makes them much, much easier to find.
